There is a whole range of dishes on the Publix catering menu. The list is quite extensive, so there are plenty of choices. On the Publix catering menu, you’ll find: –

The clue is in the name. Literally, this is a full platter loaded high with slices with lean and tasty smoked turkey. This is great to order as a supplement to some of the other platters, as turkey slices tend to go before any of the other meats.

Connoisseurs Choice

This is a great option for those looking for a little more choice. You’ll get three different types of meat as part of the Publix catering menu, including juicy roast beef, savory and slightly salty ham, and turkey slices as described as above.

Chicken Platter

It’s not a party unless there’s some tasty chicken on offer. These aren’t boring slices, oh no.

On the boar’s head chicken platter, you’ll find buffalo and ever roast chicken breast. Both are crispy and utterly delicious. They are served with a mix of cheeses and dips.

Italian Virtuoso

Again the clue in the name. This is very much what most people would call a European deli platter. You can expect to find a huge pile of cured meats. These include Genoa salami, deluxe ham, ham cappy, and provolone cheese. And it doesn’t end there either. You’ll also find the Italian virtuosa boars head platter is accompanied by a delicious mustard dip.

Terrific Quintet

The Publix catering menu offers a range of sizes in most of their platters. There are actually two scales. The regular scale and the ‘boars head scale’ are normally annotated on the Publix catering menu with a ‘B’ in front of the size.

• Small (S) -This is ideally suited to serve around 8 -12 people. Obviously, you can extend this by accessorizing your choice with other sides.
• Medium (M) – Medium size on the Publix catering menu is designed to ideally feed between 16 and 20 people
• Large (L) – If you are catering for a large crowd, then large is where it is at. Large can serve between 26 – 30 people.

What is in a Publix Entertainer Platter?

The Publix entertainer platter has to be one of our favorites. This is probably what most people think of when they are looking at ‘party’ catering… Hence the name. The bread used varies depending on the location of your local store.

Generally, you’ll find either floury finger rolls or croissants are used to make delicious sandwiches. These are filled with a variety of fillings. You can either choose to opt for all of the same fillings or go for a real mix. The choice of fillings includes: –

Tasty and thick slices of cured ham

Egg and creamy mayonnaise

Tuna mayo, with lemon pepper seasoning

Chunky chicken salad (our personal favorite).

How Many Does a Publix Ringleader Feed?

The number of people a ringleader platter serves depends entirely on the size you order (and how hungry your guests are). All of the Boar’s head ringleader platters serve a minimum of 8 -12 people. Here are the options that you’ll find available on the Publix catering menu: –

Wait, what is a Publix ringleader?

How Do You Order Catering from Publix?

Ordering catering from Publix is pretty simple. First, visit their website and locate your nearest store. From there, you can either call to place an order, but your best bet is to visit and place your order in-store.

Publix doesn’t currently offer online ordering, but they are developing a system where this will be supported.

Publix makes all of its party platters and catering from fresh. As a result, you will need to allow them sufficient time to prepare your catering order, especially if it is a large order! For large party sizes, Publix recommends allowing 24 hours between placing your order and coming to pick it up.

If you don’t feel like driving to the store to pick it up, it is no problem with Publix. Publix currently offers delivery and shipping via Instacart, and in some instances, can even offer same-day delivery. Publix catering delivery is only available in the states that they serve.
