You can download a Statement of enrolment from OSIRISand print it.

  1. Go to the tab Personal details.
  2. Next to 'study programme' you can see the programme you are doing.
  3. Click on the link 'status enrolment for study programme' below.
  4. You will then see the 'enrolment status'.
  5. If you are fully enrolled, then you will find a link to 'statement of enrolment'.

The university now longer hands out physical student cards. Your student card is now always available digitally via the MyUU app. You can download it in the:

Always make sure you have the latest version of the app, so that it functions optimally.

Besides your student card, you may also always be asked to show valid proof of identification (ID-card or passport). For example when sitting exams. So don't forget to always bring this with you!

If you do not have a (right kind of) smartphone, or would prefer to have something on paper. You can download and print a Statement of Enrolment fromOSIRIS(see answer above).

You will receive your student card when your (re-)enrolment is successful. In other words:

  • you have submitted a request for (re-)enrolment.
  • you have met all admission and enrolment requirements.
  • you have arranged thepaymentof your tuition fees.

Is everything in order? Then the Central Student Administration will send you a confirmation email within one week that you are officially enrolled and your student card is ready in the MyUU app. Log in using your Solis-id.

You always need to have a valid proof of identification with you when sitting exams, in order to prove who you are. A student card is not necessaryanymore as of the 2017-2018 academic year.

There is no difference. The student card states the study programme and the academic year for which you are enrolled. As such, your student card automatically is also proof of enrolment. Only it is possible to download an print a Statement of enrolment from OSIRIS (see questions 1).

Yes, the university is doing all it can to notify all food & beverage outlets, retailers and other parties that offer a student discount in Utrecht. Should you run into problems, you can show this official statementby Utrecht University.

You can also always dowload and print a Statement of enrolment from OSIRISor opt for the ISIC card. For the 2019-2020 academic year Utrecht University has entered into a temporary collaboration with them, which makes it possible to apply for one at the greatly reduced rate of € 5.

You use your student card at the university or at other institutions (e.g. DUO) in order to prove that you are enrolled at Utrecht University. When you make use of university facilities (e.g. attend lectures), you may be asked to show your student card/statement of enrolment. Please note that you can also always be asked to identify yourself by means of valid proof of identification (ID card or passport).

No, you do not need it. For this, you use a library card.

Starting from 1 June 2017 the Central Student Administration will only issue digital student cards via the MyUU app and will no longer provide a physical student card/proof of enrolment.

The photograph you uploaded may be too big. Go to OSIRISand upload a new photograph there.Please note that the size has to be 100 KB or less.

The student card stating the year of enrolment only proves that you are enrolled at Utrecht University. You still always need to be able to prove who you are by means of valid proof of identification (ID card or passport).

The campus card is for Utrecht University employees. The digital student card is for students only.

After one previous log in, and when enrolled correctly, you can always use the MyUU app offline. Make sure you have the latest version of the app, as some features may not work properly in older versions. Do you really want to be sure? Download and print a Statement of Enrolmentfrom OSIRIS.

Forgotten your password? You can create a new one at www.uu.nl/wachtwoord. Your Solis-id is the same as your student number. If you are a new student, you can log in with your Solis-id from July onwards. Your Solis-id will not be active until July.

You can find an official statement that Utrecht University has introduced the digital student card in academic year 2017-2018. You can also apply for a digitalISIC card (International Student Identity Card), a recognised card for international students.For this reason, larger universities and musea might already be used to it. With the ISIC card you can also get student discounts abroad.

A digital student card is in line with Utrecht University's strategic objectives. It is innovative, sustainable and saves money. A digital student card has various advantages:

  • Innovative: Utrecht University is the first to introduce it
  • Sustainable: it uses much less paper
  • You always have your student card at hand
  • Student card and proof of enrolment in one
  • You cannot lose your student card and it can no longer be stolen
  • You receive the card more quickly: your student card becomes visible in the MyUU app as soon as you have been enrolled (this is instead of having to wait at least two to four weeks)

If you’re enrolled for contract teaching or solely registered for a minor (while registered at another Dutch university), you will not receive a digital student card.
