Real world football manager and coaches are available in FIFA 23. These managers are available in FIFA 23 Career Mode as well as in FUT 23.

FUT 23 Managers

Manager cards are staff items in FUT 23 which represent team managers (team coaches) for your FUT squads. Adding a manager to your squad will help you to have better team chemistry and to have contract bonuses for your players.

Manager cards are based on their real life managers and they come with a league name. The league name of a manager card is the key for your team chemistry. You are able to change a manager card’s league by applying a Manager League card to it.

Chemistry

Similar to players, Managers’ nationality and league (but not club) has an impact on Player and Team Chemistry. Choosing a manager with the same nationality and league as your players will result highest chemistry rate in your squad.

Types

FUT Manager items are in three common qualities of Gold, Silver and Bronze. They also feature a contract bonus percentage which adds up number of contracts to players when applying a contract item to a player if that manager is your squad’s manager at that moment. How to Add/Change a Manager in your Squad?

To add a manager to your squad, go to your Squad, open up the Manager Actions screen (PS4: R2 button / Xbox: RT button), select Add Manager option if you haven’t added any manager before, or Swap Manager option if you want to change your current manager, then select a manager card.

Where to Find & Get Managers?

Manager card items can be found in the packs and can be gained as rewards. They also can be purchased from the Transfer Market, by searching under Staff tab and choosing the Staff Type as Managers.
